Chemical Engineering

Welcome to the Department of Chemical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh. The Chemical Engineering Department was established in the year of 2015, jointly with Biotechnology with name “Chemical & Biotechnology”, and started running independently from August 2017. The department presently offers under graduate 4 year B.Tech programme in Chemical Engineering. Near future department also has a plan to offer Post Graduate programme with specialization in different fields.

At present, our Department is focusing on fundamental research related to Chemical Engineering. We are also reckoning research towards interdisciplinary areas like Nanotechnology, Renewable Energy, Interfacial Science and Engineering, Sustainable Polymer, Environment Science and Engineering, Micro/Nano Fluidics, Biochemical Engineering, Bioseparation, Biosensor, and as well as Modeling and Simulation.
