Dr. Ravi Ranjan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh. Prior to this he was affiliated with Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, India and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He received Doctoral and Master’s degree from National Institute of Technology Silchar, India in Mechanical Engineering after qualifying GATE examination and receiving Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University Kota, India. He is a member of several professional bodies. He has published more than 30 research articles in Copyright Patents, SCI and SCOPUS indexed international journals and conference proceedings. His research area includes Uncertainty Quantification, Machine Learning, Computational Mechanics, Multi-functional Composites and Functionally Graded structures, Surrogate Modelling, Vibration and Impact Engineering, Additive Manufacturing dealing with novel aspects of mechanics, design, materials and structures. He is a regular reviewer of prestigious reputed journals of Elsevier, Sage, Taylor & Francis and Springer.
