The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established right from the inception of the Institute in 2010. The Departments offer a 4-year degree program (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a annual intake of 30 students. The Department has added two PG programme in VLSI and Electronics Design and Manufacturing (EDM) from 2013 and 2014 respectively with an annual intake of 20 students each. The Department has also initiated research programmed leading to PhD from 2013-14.
Electronics & Communication Engineering is a branch of having fastest growth and has been able to bring the world at fingertip of one and all. The mission of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is to produce and disseminate theory, principles, practice and know – how of various fields of Electronics such as Communication, signal processing, VLSI, Nanotechnology and many more in tune with the needs and demands of changing times.
